In contrast, an expensive hotel with all the bells and whistles and extra services is not a neccesary expense to ensure a successful and happy trip. So, a cheap hotel is the smart move.
An expensive hotel will mean you’ll be stretching your budget to the point where it will hurt. It will detract from your overall enjoyment. It is much more sensible to save a lot of money by finding a bargain hotel room. Everyone’s going to be asking you to take out your wallet throughout your trip. Why allow a pricey hotel to drain your wallet further when you don’t have to?
The important things about your trip, the the things you will most remember down the line and look back fondly about, will not be that you paid way more for a hotel room than you had to. No, the hotel room is merely the place you’ll return to each evening to fall asleep after getting tired out with all your travel activities. Or, your room will be the place you will go in order to quickly freshen up before heading out for dinner or something. It’s all that other stuff you don’t want to make too many compromises on when you’re budgeting your vacation. Therefore, avoid paying more than you have to on a hotel.
